Regional Tom Price in Western Australia holds an annual community festival that celebrates and promotes the strong community spirit that exists between all the people in Tom Price and Paraburdoo. The people celebrate the festival with a sense of pride and it also acts as a reunion and bringing together of the community at large.
The festival commences the week before with the Festival Ball based on the theme chosen for the festival, which changes every year. Following on is the Respect Yourself Respect Your Culture Art Exhibition and workshops and then the festival weekend centred on families and youth with plenty of stalls, games and entertainment for all ages. Sunday is the closing day with the focus around relaxing and just having fun.
